- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪At Quinte Orthopaedics we understand that people have busy lives , unforeseen illnesses and family commitments that often get in the way of a scheduled appointment . We do our best to accommodate to those busy schedules . We also have a waiting list of other individuals trying to get in for an appointment because they are in pain. When an appointment is cancelled with only a few hours notice we often can not fill that spot on such short notice . We have a 24 hour cancellation policy so that people are considerate of those waiting for an appointment and the therapist left with an empty appointment time . We are compassionate and there are certainly exceptions . For those who have simply forgotten, we require a policy that our staff must abide by.
